Ocean Retreat | Wessex Quarters

Positive: Location was great for beach access and Weymouth Negative: We arrived around 8pm on our first night and found it hard to get into the property as the key to the green gare wouldn't turn. The property was cold and smelt very musty. On the surface the property looked okay but it felt like it hadn't been deep cleaned for a while and remainence from previous occupancy was left in on the kitchen sides and floor. We only had one bath towel to share between the two of us and it took longer than 24 hours for someone to respond to this after contacting the host about this. With them suggesting they could bring more towels that evening, the last evening of our stay. There was a small amount of washing up liquid, half a cleaning cloth to clean the worktops with and the 'toiletries' they include in their description included handwash, and thats it. All of our clothes smell of the property and will need washing on our return. The photo of the front of the property is misleading as the flat is situated around the back and not at all appealing.

Positive: How clean and tidy it was +,very cozy Negative: Mabe tell future guests, about ocean retreat that it's round the back ,and not part of seasons, its bit misleading in the pictures, also that it's a green gate as opposed too a green dr, the entrance to the courtyard, to get to the flat,overall a lovely place to stay

Positive: Location great, comfortable Negative: No desertspoons, lack of mirrors in bedroom, lack of hooks in bedroom / bathroom, toiletries mentioned in description on Booking.com but were not provided until we requested them
