Avon View | Wessex Quarters

Positive: Not sure why it's called Avon View!

Altogether a lovely house in a great position but a bit more thought about practicalities would be . Positive: Door entry using automatic key pad is convenient rather than a key. ( although it didn’t like my finger, just my friend’s 🤷🏻‍♀️) Good size rooms and comfortable beds. Negative: Not enough seating for any more than two guests unless you like to sit on a folding chair which is not very comfortable. Shame that there isn’t accessible cleaning items, especially a vacuum cleaner. Also only two beds out of three were made up so one of us had to sleep downstairs and the curtains are very thin considering car lights disturb sleep. ( could do with blackout curtains)

Excellent location and really lovely place to stay Positive: We loved the location as so easy to walk into the facilities nearby. The property was nicely laid out, great facilities. It was great for the 5 of us to get together and catch up. Negative: It’s a minor thing but there was not enough comfortable seating, we were 5 adults over the age of 50+ and there was only 1 sofa. The chairs for the table were very uncomfortable for any length of time and there was nothing else to sit on. For the 2 days we stayed it was fine but this was a minor thing as we all really liked the place.
